Dan has always had a passion for exercise. Years of competitive hockey helped him realize the importance of health and fitness and his passion for helping others led him to a career in personal training. Dan has been working as a personal trainer for four years and has had the opportunity to work with clients of various backgrounds and understands that individuals have different needs, goals, and interests. There is no obstacle Dan is not ready to overcome and he has helped many clients reach their potential. He is committed to educating, inspiring, and helping people reach their health and fitness goals.

Dan first learned about CrossFit from a co-worker at a globo gym and immediately fell in love with it! CrossFit’s emphasis on all-around athleticism (strength, flexibility, endurance, focus, etc.) was directly in line with his pre-existing health and fitness values and the community was extremely welcoming. He found the conditioning to be challenging and the workouts were not only strenuous, but they required significant mental focus. CrossFit makes it very easy to track improvement; whether it is by big leaps or small increments, which helps keep motivation high. The variety in the workouts ensures that it is always fun and keeps the body guessing! These aspects are all related to what Dan was already doing with his personal training clients and transitioning into CrossFit was seamless. Dan is now actively competing in CrossFit competitions and is always working on beating himself (and Everett!).
