 We, the CrossFit Bytown coaching staff, are very excited to award our March 2018 Member of the Month to Kevin Rocchi. Kevin has been a consistent member since Bytown 1.0 and a solid member of the 6am class. Kevin is in the process of moving to Hamilton and will definitely be missed by the morning Bytown crew  

Why did you choose Bytown? Proximity to downtown Ottawa, atmosphere and coaches

What are your goals? To stay in shape, so I can destroy my body with food and alcohol on weekends. Lift heavy things.

What do you do for a living? Structural Engineer

What are your hobbies? Woodworking, hanging with my dog, reading.

What changes have you noticed?  I can carry all my groceries into my apartment in one trip.  Body feels stronger overall

What motivates you? Excessive amounts of food and alcohol

Favourite WOD? Anything with Olympic lifting, squats or deadlifts

Advice to new members? Be consistent.  Be disciplined.  Pick a regular time to go during the week.  Commit to going at that time 2 to 4 times a week.
