Phil Lachance - Physiotherapist
Phil developed his passion for fitness and wellbeing having participated in competitive sporting events in high school, including track and field, cross country skiing, and hockey. Phil has since completed his bachelors in Health Sciences with honours, and his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa.
Phil likes to spend his spare time teaching and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai martial arts. Phil also has extensive experience in cycling and running, having volunteered and competed in multiple events. His background in sports has made him a strong believer of the benefits of physiotherapy not only for injury rehabilitation, but also for prevention and performance optimization.
Phil specializes in the management and treatment of a variety of orthopedic conditions and prefers to treat patients with an active care approach, tailored to patient’s individual needs and goals.
“My treatment philosophy revolves around empowering people with the tools they need to manage and treat their conditions independently. This approach not only maximizes their understanding of their condition, but will also help prevent its recurrence.”
