A word from your coach:

After a hard stressful day at work do you go to the gym to go to “the dark place” to forget. This is not always the best approach. If your body is already stressed and highly sympathetic, maybe take a day off, or if you are going to come into the gym, approach the training smart. Take it easy and try to be in more of a flow (parasympathetic state) instead of a a fight or flight (sympathetic state). This will help keep your overall stress and cortisol levels down and allow you to stop digging yourself into a stress hole.
