Breaking Barriers: Our In-House Physiotherapy Program is Officially Live!

After a massive investment of time, behind-the-scenes grid, and hard work, I am incredibly proud to announce that our official Bytown Physiotherapy and Rehab program is officially live.

For me personally, this is a massive milestone. I have been hyper-focused on proper movement and the elimination of pain for a very long time. In fact, it’s the exact reason I got into CrossFit in the first place—years ago, it was the only major fitness methodology that put functional movement patterns at the center of the plate.

Having dealt with several major injuries of my own over the years, my initial goal was simply to eliminate my own pain and restore my confidence under a barbell. But once I put in the work and saw the life-changing results firsthand, my mission shifted. I wanted to help others find that same relief with the exact same passion, dedication, and intensity that I used to heal myself.

That philosophy has always influenced every single aspect of Bytown from the top down—it dictates how we program our daily workouts, how we coach on the floor, and how we advise you on scaling. But today, we are taking the ultimate next step.

We are now officially recognized by insurance providers, allowing you to treat your injuries right here using your workplace physiotherapy benefits.

Let’s be completely honest about the fitness industry: 1-on-1 personal training is expensive. On the flip side, traditional clinical physio can often feel incredibly boring, clinical, and repetitive, making people hesitant to shell out out-of-pocket cash for it.

Our new program completely bridges that gap. You get to work with me 1-on-1 in a private, dedicated training environment to restore your range of motion and eliminate your pain, and you get fully reimbursed by your insurance provider. It works the exact same way as if you walked into a standard physiotherapy clinic, except we are using functional movement on the gym floor to actually fix the root cause.

The process to get started is incredibly simple:

  1. The Assessment: Book your initial assessment online with our brilliant staff Physiotherapist, Ola, at BookPhysio.Bytown.Fit.
  2. The Blueprint: After your virtual appointment, Ola will confer directly with me, and together we will map out a custom, localized path forward to treat your specific condition.
  3. The Work: You can then start booking your 1-on-1 rehab sessions to work with me directly through the Kilo app (step-by-step app instructions are coming to your inbox soon!).

There is still a ton of administrative work happening behind the scenes to keep optimizing this experience, and I will keep you updated as things evolve. But right now, I am fired up to lower the barriers to entry and help you get back to full, pain-free performance.

See you on the floor,

Coach Everett
