Consistency Wins in the Box
Consistency is not about cramming every session into your week. It’s about showing up reliably, doing the work, and letting small, repeated efforts compound over time. When you treat each workout like a non negotiable appointment with yourself, progress follows—even when life throws a curveball.
Why consistency beats intensity
Intensity is great in the right dose, but persistence wins in the long run. You don’t need a perfect week to move forward. You need a few solid days, a clear plan, and accountability. If you miss a workout, get back at it the next day rather than spiraling. Small, steady effort adds up faster than big bursts that burn out.
Weekly routine that sticks
Pick 3-4 training days you can consistently hit. Keep workouts short and focused on quality. Prioritize movements you enjoy and that build a strong foundation: squats, pushes, pulls, carries, and a simple hinge. Schedule around work and family, not against them, and protect your recovery days with gentle movement, mobility, or a light jog.
Two practical tips
1) Pre plan your week every Sunday. Write down which days you train, what you’ll focus on, and how you’ll handle busy days. 2) Use a short warm up and a tight scale plan. If the gym is crowded or you are tight, having a ready to go scaled option keeps you moving and reduces the chance of skipping.
Progress without burnout
Track one or two simple metrics: how many solid reps you can do with good form, and how you feel after the workout. If you improve in either area, you are moving forward. If you feel off more than two days in a row, listen to your body and dial back a notch.
Make it a habit with reminders
Set a reminder on your phone for your training block. Prepare your gear the night before. Small cues remove friction and make it easier to show up, even on rough days 💪.
Mindset matters
Think long game. Focus on showing up well and finishing with intention, not chasing a single perfect week. Consistency compounds into confidence, technique, and better performance over time.
Your action plan for this week
Choose three training days you can commit to, each with a simple focus (example: squats, press, and a conditioning piece). Add one mobility session as a

This is a hard one to finish, so don’t scale just so you can make it all the way through, it is meant to be difficult.
Strap in and get that row done, jump right into moving. Find a good fight and attack. Extend the exhale during your rest, lower HR and keep your head in the fight.
